Web endpoints
A web endpoint is the address your app or site calls to run an action. You decide who may call it and how often.
How Typestate does it
- Your agent gives an action an address, a method and the inputs it takes.
- Before the action runs, Typestate checks who is calling, how often they called, and whether the inputs fit.
- Sandbox and Live each have their own address, and your own domain can sit in front of Live.
What you can do with it
- Open an endpoint to everyone, to people signed in, or to holders of a key.
- Limit each caller to a number of calls a minute or a day.
- Take a form post from a plain HTML page, with a bot check.
- Say which of your sites may call it from a browser.
