Everything a backend needs
Every account has all of it from the start. Your agent sets up what your app needs, and the cockpit shows you what it set up.
What most backends use
Actions, defined and visualized step by step
Your agent defines what your backend does as steps, one sentence each. Typestate checks every step, runs it, and draws the action so you can follow it.
Sign in and user accounts
People sign up with an email or with Google. An order or a booking can belong to the person who made it.
Record types and their rules
Say what your backend stores, and which values it accepts.
Web endpoints
The address your app calls to run an action. You set who may call it and how often.
Files
Store the files people upload, and give each one back only to the people allowed to see it.
Timers
Run an action at set times, for example every night at 02:00, in your own time zone.
Connected systems and incoming messages
Call Stripe, Slack or any service with an API. Typestate stores the keys encrypted, and your agent never sees them.
Sandbox and Live
Two copies of every backend: Sandbox to test on, Live for your customers. You approve each change before it reaches Live.
Automatic scaling
When more people use your backend, Cloudflare runs more copies of it. You never pick a server size.
More features
Every account has these too, and none of them needs extra setup.
Examples, in your words
Your agent writes examples of what an action must do. An action with a failing example cannot go Live.
Email
Your backend sends mail through your own provider, and you see what happened to each mail.
Push notifications
Send a notification to a person's browser and phones.
Payments
Take payments and subscriptions with your own Stripe account.
Web sites
Typestate serves the site you built, at the same address as its backend.
Your own web address
Put your backend and your site on your own domain, with a certificate Typestate renews.
Your own MCP servers
Let other AI agents run your actions as tools.
Logs and traces
Follow each call step by step: what came in, what each step did, what went out.
Stored values and keys
You paste keys on a one-time page. Typestate stores them encrypted, and your agent never sees them.
